In its third installment, Of Rice and Roots has grown to become our biggest event of any year, bringing together 6 UBC Southeast Asian Student associations (the Vietnamese Students Society, the Thai Aiyara Club, the Singapore Students’ Association, the UBC Philippines Studies Series, the Seri Malaysia Club and the Gado-Gado Indonesian Students Association of UBC) as well as the UBC Centre for Southeast Asia Research in a celebration of Southeast Asian food and culture.
Come and eat with us, and at the same time get to know more about our dynamic and diverse corner of the world!
The event will be held in the UBC AMS Student NEST – Great Hall from 6 to 9.30 pm on Tuesday February 2nd 2016.
