Trinh Nguyen-Phan
Trinh is a second-year Ph.D. student at the School of Information of the University of British Columbia and a member of the Blockchain Graduate Pathway. Her research interests include blockchain governance and digital ecosystems. Prior to her doctoral training, Trinh had more than ten years involving in professional life in several organizations, including multinational companies, a family business, local start-ups, and an NGO in different roles.
Her diverse exposure to different organizational cultures infuses her passion for a life-long learning and research career. Trinh wishes to leverage her interdisciplinary background and interests into blockchain research and education. As a fellow of the Institute of Asian Research scholar and a member of CSEAR (Center of Southeast Asian Research) 2022-2023, Trinh wishes to know people from different discipline who can challenge and improve her understanding of the governance, economics, and the socio-political aspect of blockchain in the vibrant Southest Asian region.
