RESEARCHING SOUTHEAST ASIA AS GRADUATE STUDENTS

CSEAR is organising a workshop on ‘Researching Southeast Asia as graduate students’. We envision this workshop as a place to learn from the experience of 4 researchers, senior PhD students and one recent graduate, that have extensive experience in their respective fields. The objective is to not only learn from their experience, their challenges and the ways they solved them, but also to create a broader conversation where ANY of us can share their doubts, issues, challenges or even solutions to the table.

Speakers: Edgar Liao (History, Singapore), Isabel Chew (Political Science, Myanmar), Louisa May-Khoo (SCARP, Singapore) and Nila Ayu Utami (History, Indonesia)

Moderator: Constant Courtin (Political Science)
